Portuguese giants FC Porto hosts Claudio Ranieri's unpredictable Roma at the Estadio do Dragao in the first leg of Europa League playoff round.

Form

FC Porto head into this fixture on the back of a poor run of form as they have won just one of their last last eight games in all competitions with four losses and three draws.

They have been defensively porous, having conceded in seven of their last ten games in all competitions while both teams have found the back of the net in four of their last six games.

Porto won just three of their eight Europa League group stage games this season and have scored 2+ goals in three of their four Europa League home games.

Roma have been inconsistent and unpredictable this season and head into this fixture on the back of a narrow 1-0 Serie A win away to Venezia.

They have won four of their last seven games in all competitions including a 2-0 home win over Frankfurt in their last Europa League match.

Six of their last ten games in all competitions have featured both teams to score while the Italian side have struggled away from home in this competition as they are winless in all four Europa League away games this season.

Roma have also conceded in all their away Europa League matches while six of their eight Europa League fixtures have featured Under 2.5 goals.

Though both teams seem to be struggling in defence, Roma's Europa League matches this season have been low scoring and with Porto looking labored in attack, I'll be backing Under 3.5 goals.
