Inter Milan hosts Monaco at the Guiseppe Meazza stadium as Simone Inzaghi's side will be looking to cement their place in the top eight of the Champions League.

Inter Milan have been impeccable this season and head into this fixture on the back of a strong run of form.

After a comfortable 4-0 Serie A win over Lecce, They have now won eight of their last ten games in all competitions including a narrow 1-0 win over Sparta Praha in their last Champions League game.

Inter Milan have been defensively solid as they have kept six clean sheets in seven Champions League games this season, conceding a total of one goal with six of their seven matches featuring under 2.5 goals.

They have won all three of their home Champions League games.

Monaco come into this fixture in a poor run of form as they have won just three of their last ten games in all competitions including a hard fought 1-0 win over Aston Villa in their last Champions League game.

They have been more solid in the Champions League though, winning four of their seven Champions League games with two defeats and one draw.

Monaco have conceded in five Champions League games this season with five of their seven Champions League games seeing over 2.5 goals.

The French side have conceded 2+ goals in two of their away Champions League games this season.

Verdict

With Monaco lacking the firepower to break a solid Inter defence, it's hard to see a chance for the French team. I'll be backing Inter Milan FT win.
